We can’t do that in too many places here in CO anymore because STR’s are now illegal lots of places but medium term (30+ days) furnished properties rent for a big premium over traditional long term, so I’ve done that on my last two projects.

Without knowing the exact location or condition of the property I can't provide exact advice, but Id looks into other rental forms such as either Medium-term furnished rentals, or rent by the room to increase the rental income.

If you want to scale quickly, I recommend medium sized multi families in affordable markets with reasonably low property taxes.

Hello everyone,Long time member, first time poster.It’s a long story and I’m writing this on my phone so I’ll skip some parts.Current residents in one of my units are not actually on a lease (mom is on lease but moving out leaving daughter there etc)I’ve already talked to them letting them know we will need to have a new lease signed with everyone living there to be on it.During our conversation, it was mentioned that one of them will be having a surgery soon and will be in a wheelchair for a while.They requested I add a ramp to the house (this is a double width mobile home).So my question is, do I have to add the ramp?

They mow the two mounds of grass at the front entrance but don’t mow the entire width along the Main Street, I get zero benefit from the $800/yr and frankly am fed up.
