I’m a home owner that would like to start building a portfolio but just lack the knowledge and direction. 

Lack of experience or qualifications, poor communication skills, Inadequate screening processes, lack of transparency in fees and charges, negative reviews, high turnover, lack of proper accounting/financial management and unprofessional behavior to name a few.

From what I was told by a Chase lender, most institutions use the same underwriters, who implement this 2 year requirement.I understand that private lending could be an option, however, I'm not sure who would lend to me with favorable terms based on my lack of real estate experience.

I can tell you Rentredi is a huge time waste between issues with the apps and lack of service. big thumbs down and im honestly surprised they are promoted on here. 

Having to share means working around other big jobs, etc and doing more stuff myself than I would care to do for lack of help.

There has been under construction in this space since GFC in 2008-09, so now big lack of supply, and we have multiple offers on spaces and able to increase rental rates 10-11% on new leases, plus we write in CPI step-ups to hedge inflation. 

I wouldn't pursue it due to the lack of documentation/evidence.

In my experience, the main reason for the construction "anxiety" from OOS investors is due to the lack or inability to develop real trust with an experienced GC.

I am open to finding a house that needs a fix up, however I am concerned with my lack of experience in real state.
