So I am new to real estate investing - currently don't have any deals or projects. im located in Connecticut - Im a beginner and am looking for experience and knowledge and more information - as a beginner I want as much information as possible with the experience I know a lot of people who start- they network, meet different investors and different people in the real estate world .

Hello fellow investors I’m not sure if this is the right idea or not. so I’m hoping I can borrow from your experience/knowledge.

I would say in more practical manner, they are more knowledgeable than us the investor what needs to be purchased.

If something is outside of your knowledge, contactor support, or understanding walk away. 

It would be easier if I had more money, networks, knowledge.

There is always room to add another property and make a decent return, but it requires enough knowledge/experience to create a rental that is unique enough to attract renters away from the competition.

Even if I have to start out by working for free for someone - all I want is knowledge and experience. what is something to look for when looking for a mentor in real estate?

Inspections are very good for homeowner buying a primary residence because its a huge purchase in their life and they usually have little knowledge or experience, but many experiencedinvestors myself included feel confident that we will see most anything an inspector would. 

You'll be able to meet others starting out as well as hear from guest speaker's and their education and knowledge on investments!
