The 2 year certifications require dust swab samples from multiple areas (windows, window sills, floors) of each room (not basements) and the exterior must also pass visual inspection.

Did you have a home inspection? 

Will the property pass appraisal and inspections, and will I get funded at closing?

Some do not allow access or inspections, and some will not have utilities turned on so its tough to determine what is and is not working.

And then, as you mentioned, order a follow up "final" inspection - that we use a 1004D to complete it on.Hope all of that makes sense but feel free to reach out with any questions. 

Hi all,Not sure if this is a uniquely Florida question, but here in Florida you cannot obtain property insurance on a home until a four-point inspection is completed by an insurance company.
