I would look at crowdfunding, REIT or ETF otherwise as they are more heavily scrutinized to diversify your work if you don't want to learn to underwrite the deal somewhat.

You will be more in the $350k range for a loan assuming the bank will lend on the land. 2) income will be verified on taxes so if you are not reporting the cash as income - it will kill your DTI and could create an issue.3) see number 1 for LTV constraints4) DTI will be difficult without taxable income that can be documented - likely created an issue. 3 houses that don't create income will heavily offset those that do.

If this is not resolved when my membership is up for renewal, it will weigh heavily on whether I continue using the site.It would be so simple to create a setting allowing Plus or Pro members to white list their IP address.FWIW, I've reported to @BiggerPockets Support several times about the @ mention not always linking to other members and all I get is "try refreshing the page" instead of a fix.
