@Omar Khan From the way @Christopher Phillips described it, I think the objection regarding "quiet" is a lender's legal department being overly - and I think unreasonably - cautious.As to describing neighborhoods, I might say "look at the condition of the surrounding homes". 

It is providing society with a much needed service, providing safe, clean,  and adequate housing, emphasis on ," SAFE".I would also check with your local building department for what might be considered code violations.

@Keith Grady, you probably want to contact the Jefferson County redemptions department to get an update on the status.

Call the local health department and find out who is responsible for housing code inspections.

I think this is a huge  problem with this country in the lack of severity in this department so your not going to get any sympathy from me.

I joined the real estate club at school and plan to set up a meeting with the head of the real estate department in hopes to establish connections that way.

Best bet is to call the building and code enforcement departments regarding any prooerty related violations.

I left the Sheriffs department and switched to Cleveland Police.
