I've browsed some books on Amazon and also here in Bigger Pockets but I'm not sure which are the classics or books regarded as the Bible when it comes to REI.I'm an absolute beginner, as in I totally didn't know anything about Real Estate Investing a month ago.

This is the classic scenario of purchasing a "call" option (I used to trade options online) where the option value increases by a factor of the increase in the underlining asset (in this case the unbuilt house).

Either way - classic!  

If this was a SFR, it would be a classic success.
