@Jay Hinrichs It's totally legal to give rebates in Illinois and if it's not legal in California then Redfin is in big trouble and their recent IPO is a sham :)The average agent in the country makes probably half per hour of what we charge so it would be a pay raise for most of them to do hourly work like what we do.

You're offering a great resource- it's a shame it's being shunned.

:) Only remaining issue is that the GC business likely won't generate much/any income (I have reasons for not wanting to pay myself from the rehab business to the GC business), so I'll have to try not to have too many expenses associated with the business (so the IRS doesn't deem it a "sham" business to generate unwarranted deductions).

I have noticed lately that a lot of his superiors are getting out which honestly is a shame.
