I have a noisy outdoor HVAC unit at one of my rentals -- called a larger company who said my condenser was broken.

The humidity gets into the closet, condensation forms, mold starts to grow in the water and dust mixture.

Even if it means an under the counter steam condensing 24” unit.

For those that qualify, it's not an interest rate sensitive loan, because the payoff timeline is so condensed.

I think the tenant will appreciate not having condensation in the winter and not mind the temporary disruption.I'm not about the paybak period in Illinois for solar hot water and solar PV but might be worth looking into.

But come to find out there are condensing (ventless) dryers.

Venting thru soffit or roof causes too much condense to run down and cause more probs and causes more attic probs.

Here is the condensed version of how I got to that point:Went to college and quickly learned I was not going to be a professional athlete !  

I had a nearly new HVAC system damage new flooring because the condensate drain pipe plugged up (for an unknown reason) When I opened the closet the unit was in, it was full of water.

Condensation on windows, in the winter, can be a problem in any building old or new.
