Just browsing forums and reading about what people in your local market are talking about can lead to some solid connections.

We started looking at other towns after listening to the podcast and browsing the forums.

Before I made my latest multi-unit purchase, I must have browsed the interiors of around 40-50 units.

For now, we stay in AirBnbs when we travel, but I hate the whole AirBnb experience of browsing hundreds of listings, having maintenance issues, having to guess if the location is good, and knowing that I am likely displacing a local family (airbnbs are ruining the neighborhood I live in, so I am sensitive to this).

A good way to do this is to browse through magazines or images online.
