@Gino Barbaro I believe the seed is set early and fostered via our education system, which by design is built to produce "good consumers and employees". 

Does anyone have any comments on working with Redfin end to end, as dual agent, buy then sell the property?  About to do my first flip and curious about Redfin, which appears to save a lot especially on the sell side ...

My Father has been renting us a house in OBX every summer since I was a kid and were both pretty affluent now and I'm floating the idea of us going in together on an Oceanfront somewhere in OBX that we can use a few weeks a year and have it pay for itself via rentals the rest of the year. 

We have created a contract that states i have to pay them back within two years via  refi to get it out of their name and into mine. 

Send them a notice to evict via registed mail (return receipt).

We receive a bill pay type check via USPS.

Before or after accepting:- Lower the sales price  or lower the sales price AND lower seller credit (only do this if you are confident in the sale)- find a value add opportunity (I've had situation where we put new roof on and split the cost 50/50 with the buyer via credits to up the home's value to meet appraised value).

It's about stopping the bleeding more than anything else.On Sun Via, same thing again, it's reducing the price until it sells.  

Finding tenants via facebook, craigslist, word of mouth, etc.. doing a phone screen, running background checks, etc.. takes A LOT of my time.

I’m just trying to learn how to do it online via Zillow and Redfin just to get my feet wet.
