If you associate his name with an article and its on a reputable website (news) or even just their social media, it's a quick google search for his name by a PM, landlord or interested LP to throw up red flags.

First page google search has his own website and the "Top 100 Professionals" bio (you too can be a top 100 professional for a mere $5,000, or maybe it is $10,000).  

I've seen it happen.. it just depends on who you're asking.I can't help w/ a referral in Ohio but I'm sure if you search long enough you'll find someone.

Try searching buy house with section 8 voucher in "your state" and see if your states web page pops up with this information.

Well, I guess you need to decide which you want more. 6 more months of searching or possibly years of headaches and loss of income.

You can also check meetup.com or search Facebook for real estate investment groups, clubs, or meetings in your area.

I'd keep this property and casually search for a replacement- when something looks interesting you could always consider a 1031. 

Like use the search bar.....If you don't take the time to find the answer for your self than you deserve whatever blunt, critical feedback you get.That being said.
