We have a comfortable life here, and when/if we move back to the states, We'd like to maintain it.Hi Tim-Yes, they're building 2 casinos here, a Sands with convention center on the main island just south of the central business district on reclaimed land, and another spearheaded by local Genting Goup on smaller Sentosa Island (sort of a resort/park/ golf development island linked by bridge and monorail) which will include a theme park.Funny thing is, Singapore has resisted having casinos for decades, afraid of turning into another vice-ridden Macao.

Do not shy away, but certainly learn the rules beforehand and know the players here.

As a second resort, find an investor friendly Realtor in the area.

I'm not very familiar with all of Trump's holdings except that he bought a golf course on the ocean in Los Angeles (primo location), bought a beat up hotel on the Vegas strip (primo location), owns an apt. building on 5th Ave in NYC (primo location), a hotel at Michigan Ave on the river in Chicago, has a new resort on the ocean in Baja, etc.

I agree, it won't be easy learning new players and a new offense but he's got enough experience and passion for the game to make up for his age.

You wouldnt want to go there before that point (unless you are a REAL Big player.)

The winter months do yield a fair amount of days suitable for golf but what keeps the the resorts fill in those times are conventions.
