Last tip - when you want to tag someone, use the @ symbol and then start typing the name of the person.

Just type the @ symbol, followed by the first few letters of their name, then look below the "Post a Reply" text box. 

and off topic but how do you tag a bp user using the @ symbol.

Put mouse on your profile picture in the top right,go to " settings", " keyword alerts" and there should be a red symbol that looks like a trash can, just click on that to remove the keyword.

When replying in the threads, place the @ symbol next to the person you're addressing and their name will pop up on the left side of the screen.
