Some action steps I’ve taken is immersed myself in REI knowledge.

There's nothing like immersing yourself in the business; and seeing how deals are done.

There aren't as many people as I expected who are passionate about real estate investment, and who chose to immerse themselves in the industry.

After I educated myself with information on this site and the plethora of podcast out there on REI I had no problem writing an offer because I knew deep within that what I was doing was right and the risk I was taking was very minimal because of the countless hours I had spent immersing myself in REI and talking with other RE investors.

I'd immerse yourself with multifamily books as well as start studying successful multifamily investors and their companies. 

Hey all,I am just starting out and am fully immersed in the typical literature although still trying to get my hands on the ABC's of Real Estate Investing.  

If you immerse yourself in the topic, you'll pick it up through osmosis. 

Partly because we have the time and energy to do it and wanted to really learn the business, be involved,  and immerse ourselves in the low income culture.
