RI in general is an extremely hot spot right now.

When I am on boarding an investor the big things they look for are - 1) An agent that understands the market, hot spots, going rents, rough parts and what each area is getting for returns. 2) An agent with connections to local PM's, GC, lender, etc. 3) An agent that is active with investors or investing themselves. 4) An agent that can find deals on or off market and can keep you fed. 

But it's absolutely a great market though not as sexy as the other Texas hotspots.

Any tourist destination hotspot would be great, such as Florida, Hawaii, Colorado, etc.

Never heard of any of these "hotspots."

I'm sure there are other industries in play, but I know Canonsburg was a hot spot for oil/gas workers, so I curious to know what trends you're seeing from the real estate side.

I know Florida is a hot spot, but I'm thinking of buying a long-term rental for a future vacation spot for the family.
