In order for a random  retail priced sfr rental to have more potential and actual profits overtime than many higher dividend stocks ( reits etc) there would need to be something extra like forced appreciation or be investing in a location that appreciates or vrbo, airbnb, furnished corp rentals etc.

Some tenants look for furnished apartments or apartments with utilities included.

Hi All,I am hoping to learn from others experiences when renting out furnished property near military bases.

I'm offering this furnished, for two reasons, the first being it is very hard to imagine living in the space so small so this helps and second, after talking with another landlord on the block it made sense.

I am considering converting one to a furnished rental for 1-12 month stays.

Additionally they furnish the apartment and have community managers that set up social events. 

They would rather do their business in a furnished house instead of a motel room. 

I will advise you to rent the place furnished for December to February if you can, or even November.You must have a really good location as I see your February was booked 57% of time.

Thats $1000/month for ONE room.It does require a furnished home but you eliminate the chances of long term bad tenants and can get paid more than what you intend your rent to be.

There is a small hospital, and I'm curious about the potential of providing nicer (maybe even furnished) rentals to traveling staff.
