you can challenge the value with an accountant, appraiser, etc most markets have a person who charges a flat fee to lower it. in Columbus Ohio most of the people that do this have a guarantee to lower it or it's like half the fee

Really wish realtor fees were flat rate for leasing or at least 2 weeks rent vs 4....I have a nicer unit but it's by no means "luxury" and it will rent in two seconds with no real marketing needed...definitely not 4k worth of work for a realtor imo...

I recently contacted them about doing another simple 1 to 1 exchange and the fee is about $1,000.Now I see there are companies like this one that states a flat fee of $495 for 1 to 1 exchanges: http://e1031xchange.com/I know what the process is, and I know what to look out for.
