Other nightstands can be an old style television or a wooden chair from a dining table. 

I would HIGHLY recommend that you change out the main dining set for something that seats more than 6.

“Bedroom” does not include a hallway, bathroom, kitchen, living room, family room, dining room, den, breakfast nook, pantry, laundry room, sunroom, recreation room, media/video room, or exercise room.

The main problem is the ugly stone fireplace and stairs smack dab in the middle separating the dining and kitchen.
