Plenty of money on the table, but extremely difficult underwriters and less than helpful loan officers in terms of information.

@Tyler Bilinovic my opinion is to get an accountant earlier in your investment career because your savings compound.

I don't know your entire situation, careers, commutes, etc., so only you can decide what fits your budget and your lifestyle best.

Honestly, the proper strategy at this moment would depend on a few factors that would be a bit difficult to get into on this board.

I do agree the conservative W2 earners who go about their careers responsibly setting aside retirement funds are best suited to be LP investors but I do not believe most syndication students are deciding between trying their hand at being a GP and making an LP investment.  

It will be not only complex (but doable) to secure financing for it, but the real issue is that if you ever want to sell it, it will be super difficult for prospective buyers to secure financing unless they are seasoned investors which limits your potential buyer pool and potentially your offloading price.
