You may see some tax savings (depending on your profit levels) if you formed an LLC and then did an S-Corp election, but I don't know enough about your situation to say for sure.Taxes aren't cookie cutter, so your scenario and goals may be vastly different to somebody else doing similar things.

THAT SAID, I still don't want to live with roommates and I'm not sure I'm comfortable with my wife living with other people we don't know well, so we are looking into spaces with two living areas: duplexes, houses with finished, walkout basements we could renovate, and other creative ways we could jerry-rig two living spaces.
