I believe they changed the guidelines years ago on the amount of seller assist you can receive on an FHA loan, so I’d look into that with your mortgage company before making an offer, but definitely use that to your advantage when writing an offer!

I did see it and scheduled the sprinkler installation but heard they are now requiring additional improvements that weren't originally discussed like multiple egresses, changes to pool room doors etc.   

.- You close on December 10th- The property is in great shape and does not need any significant repairs- It only needs some paint touch-up and changing a couple of broken fixtures, which you do yourself- You spend the next week buying furniture, electronics and supplies and installing/arranging everything yourself- You also roll up your sleeves and scrub the toilets and sinks and appliances- You put it on AirBnB/VRBO and have your first guest renting it for the 3 days of Christmas- You second guest rents it for the following weekend and leaves before NYE- You personally clean and restock the place between these two guestsCongrats!

Chicago isn't going anywhere.Compare that to other cities in Florida, I think the population growth is amazing but long term with hurricanes/climate change, it will be harder and harder to own there. 

But now I just take a little time at the beginning of each season to update it with new restaurants, venues, or changes.

Yea everything has changed since 2018.

I would wonder if the previous owner owed them money and they dont believe ownership changed. 

I would change the quality requirement so that it is not solely determineD by LL.
