Looking to get into some smaller apartment buildings in the near future.As far as the difficulties of investing in Japan, I of course agree with everything said, but in my case I'm at near-native fluency and own and manage my own business separate from anything real estate related so even without permanent residency I've never had trouble getting a loan (except of course I can't get some govt backed ones like a primary residence mortgage) for business or investing.I'll try to get in touch with everyone local to よろしくお願いします。

Thanks for the feedback; some quick stats: 9 doors across 4 states, about 50% LTV ratio with a Net Income of about 17% and cash on cash of about 3%.....in fairness those numbers include some overall business expenses not tied directly to one specific property.

:I had a consultation with Andersons a month ago... his youtube videos are great and a lot of good information... but they have packages... and are VERY VERY expensive... for the same setup as other companies for a lot less.I contacted Royal Legal Solutions as well... packages as well and expensive.I also contacted the Small Business office in Kansas and a couple of local lawyers.So far Mark J K has been the best consultation and fees as very down to earth... but will confirm tomorrow :)

Hi guys, I have some questions about putting property into LLCs/protecting assets, any information is greatly appreciated: Question 1: my understanding is that an LLC needs to be actively conducting business in its registered state in order for the LLC protections to apply, otherwise a judge could potentially pierce the corporate veil.
