I don't know about you but it feels terribly wrong to be paying that much more in such a short amount of time.It feels as if i just missed the golden days of real estate investing.

Not sure what the pushback to a good deal was all about, but for anyone reading after this is the golden nugget I got from this:Get a contract at deep discount, based on solid area comps and calculate strike price.

I had bought a condo in the "Golden Triangle" near USCD many years ago. 

Do it right so you don't kill the golden goose.

You could potentially structure a lower listing rate to realize the savings but the broker still has final approval in office rates.Now... if that person works with you long term and forms a brokerage... golden :)
