I'm sure in 20 years, these prices will look like steals, but today they are tougher to swallow.

Particularly, taxes eating up on average 3-4 months of income every year is getting harder and harder to swallow.  

It is all very rural currently, so building anything major now to try and rent out would be a crapshoot, but the urban sprawl from Orlando has swallowed Apopka and is moving Northwest rapidly, at some point in time this 10 acres with frontage will have a great traditional commercial use.  

If you're in Irvine, I understand its a buying frenzy, even new construction townhomes with Mello Roos are being swallowed up. 

So... we are working with a friend on doing a cash-out refi but the new payment is a little hard to swallow since it's $300 more/month and we've been so focused on getting out of debt...

If I can't find better alternatives I can always swallow my concerns and live with it at least for the first 3-5 years.

This was hard to swallow and a bit of a punch in the gut after working there for 5 years, but it’s already turned out to be the biggest blessing I could’ve asked for.

I'm not shocked at the asking price, but its a big pill to swallow.

But losing 15k in profit is hard to swallow when your profit margin is 20k or less.

It's a hard pill to swallow, but I think as long as I'm not sinking money into a mortgage every month, I'll feel okay moving forward with hacking.
