But it's probably less stressful for most people to be ignorant of what's really going on around them.

We just button down our lake house and hope to get a Thanksgiving (we did this year) and Christmas (nothing yet). 

I don't want to deal with the stress of potential audits if we look suspicious to the IRS.I will do the cost segregation for the property. 

It could be stressful if there is a plumbing or heating issue and you're several hours away.
