We had a similar issue recently, but we sent them the email chain that showed we were granted a permit and it was reinstated.

From watching the market and myself investing in Bryan/College Station, people are still renting out these properties nicely.They can be leased as a whole or rented by the room and are usually in great areas, close to the university, grocery stores, and restaurants.

I'm also donating to animal shelters in LA area and to LA firefighters - I think some restaurants are giving them free meals.  

Reqauest a refund from them verbally and in writing and  continue to follow up and  go up the  management  chain if needed . 

Include your business card with the bill at a restaurant.

Just in the past few years we've seen rapid growth in cafe's, yoga schools, restaurants and amenities operated by younger entrepreneurs. - The smaller more 'luxury' coastal areas such as Bandon, Arch Cape, Manzanita, Florence and Cannon Beach could see dramatic valuation increases as could luxury coastal estates.

And with much more in commonality with starting and running say a restaurant. 

You already have the Farm Patch, and Chicken Oil Company is an iconic restaurant that should be open again soon.
