Starting it and developing your vision is one of my favorite parts (probably my favorite actually lol). 

Yeah the dude is out there but maybe that works well for him as he seems to get the vision on new stuff before most.

I can see real estate attorneys, insurance, etc. if they are smart.When I look at mixed-use, I am always building the vision around what one thing I am going to put in there for myself.

During renovation: getting a wireless solar cellular camera with motion sensors, night vision and lighting or post Renovation a Ring and or simplisafe system while your project is on the market.

The other thing that Note School provided was a lot of resources and ideas on how to find the right realtors and property managers for these long distance properties as well as a vision on how to sell them either as occupied rentals and contacts that can provide RMLO services so we can sell direct to owner occupants.  

This can be a compromise if not aligned with long-term vision.
