House hacking is often promoted as the easiest way to get into real estate—buy a property, rent out part of it, and let tenants cover your mortgage.

Considering that there are people living there already, it has a potential tenant (of course I understand the potential pitfalls there as well). 

What's peoples thoughts opinions on this real estate market over here?

Surrounding yourself with a team brings some risk, but the risk is on your ability to judge people and processes. 

If I can't do that, I don't buy it.
