If the property is in a location that would justify these standards, then wait. 

You pay for the basement reno out of pocket and cash out immediately...instead of waiting for 6-12 months

To say I am shocked is an understatement.Finally, when I sought out their tax strategy services, I specifically asked in the informational meeting if I wasn't acting a little prematurely, and if I should wait for my partner and I to be married in 2024 before making this investment, i.e. if tax strategizing would pay for itself in 2023 via significant tax refunds.

Since you don't have the contacts, you will likely wait longer to get them in.

I’m in home remodeling sales and work about 20-25 hours per week and off weekends, so I have a ton of time on my hand waiting around for appointments.
