I interpretttev @Alan Asriants statement different than you but agree it is not clear   He could be indicating pools, basements, sunrooms do not provide a means for an extra tenant.

And what is your price point and are you looking for turn-key properties or something along the lines of a "fixer upper"?

@lee sanders    the key is to have good property management, i had a 2 family I loved and sold it just to get away from the tenants. 

PHX is growing so rapidly, so knowing which direction that you'd like to focus on will definitely be key.
