I would never buy a STR if the deal didn´t have either of the following, in addition to making sense as a STR: A. an obvious pivot (LTR, MTR) as my safety net if the market moves against me or B. have some additional RE benefit that would make it a deal using a different strategy ex.

One posted about buying a cheap quad,  i used her bumbers provided and my maintenance/cap ex to show negative $600/month.

That's what keeps investors like yourself holding on because the cash flow is non existent between management fees and cap ex which may not present itself in year 1, but when it does, its crushing in these lower price point properties.

Have you had larger Cap Ex projects that you didn't anticipate?

Your nightly rate will be influenced by proximity to the beach, interior design and amenities (ex game options, fire pit, pool, etc).

On the other hand, if you ever had a spouse or ex-spouse who was hiding assets in LLCs you might understand the need for more transparency in these transactions.
