Do I try to throw more money to up the decor even more?

Since I purchased the 4/3 SFH this year and had to spend a significant amount on decorating and insurance, I've chosen to keep expenses to a minimum.

If your design/decor/photography is top notch, are there other amenities you can add that the top properties have that you don’t?

I try to follow the theme with my decor.

Renting in Dec or January is orders on magnitude harder than in the summer even in mild weather San Diego.  

My thinking is my wife could decorate it real nice, we could live in the main house when it is not being rented, and when it is being rented and generating revenue we could live in the separate living quarters.
