Might be a nice look if painted in different shades.

I noticed across literally across the street was a completely vacant house, with a boarded up front door and windows covered in blinds, shades, and newspapers.I did a quick parcel search in my county and found the owner lives not too too far away.

I decided to go with painting it bright white and having the surrounding walls already Sherwin Interactive Cream, the built-in bookcases will be a color just a few shades lighter than the wall.

Some of the "no money" conversations and strategies also depend how liberal you are (shades of @Jd Martin here) with defining your "own money".  

BTW, how do you paste another poster's comment (like I did yours above) and have it be a lighter shade like I see on the forum all the time. 

Any new cabinets with soft close hinges will get "oooo" from the buyers.The nicer stuff can hold up better over time (cabinets, floors), so maybe go with it since you will be renting before selling.Use darker grouts if possible.

You have to direct them to your website, and it is on your website that you convert them into a deal.People KEEP DOING THIS WRONG and it is ridiculous that people simply refuse to think.You are not going to convert people to sell their house to you  on a 4 x 6 inch shade yellow card.

Paint rest of balcony trim what ever shade of white you use around windows and doors. bronze balusters (or more expensive cable) would make it look visually way less busyl2.
