OR I would learn a skill-based facet of gambling (poker, blackjack, for example) and see if I could multiply it that way. 

Where I see the market for these stale or dead notes is purely among brokers and investors, passing them around the table like a dealer playing blackjack.

Any success rate even slightly over 50% is good, sort of like the house odds on blackjack.

Ugly cocktail servers, poorly stocked minibars, and blackjack players sitting third base at my table who split tens and/or hit when the dealer shows 16.Oh, and I also don't like upselling.

If you have just a few properties, its a lot like stepping up to the blackjack table.
