That's where adding privacy through anonymity can come into the picture.A layer of anonymity can be added to the traditional LLC by utilizing an Agent Trust as Member/Manager of the traditional LLC.

Another way of saying anonymity is likely not going to help much anyway when dealing with this minority plaintiff attorney you hope not to encounter and most never will.I believe the second half of this post really speaks to the mechanisms and practicalities of litigation and should point to how you should operate your business to avoid such claims from arising but if they do, what should be done through your day to day operations to mitigate your personal and business exposure.

Not sure what state you're in but in CA I'd have to pay an extra $800 franchise tax for each LLC even if I set up the LLC in another state (I was going to do the LLC in Wyoming for anonymity using a registered agent).

You also will not be anonymous when people look you up on property records since they will see that you, as an individual, purchased the property (Use Wyoming LLCs!).

I have been told by a local real estate lawyer (after asking a question) that using a holding company LLC out of WY or NV is an option for "anonymity", which then they (your holding LLC) owns the other LLCs in different states.
