We are on 15 channels to include Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Marriott Homes & Villas, JetBlue Airlines, Allegiant airlines, Homes2Go and more. 

If you DIY, be careful not to rush the prep work, id recommend using a shop vacuum or dust mop on your walls if you sand them.

I have the benefit of only pay the taxes in the airline tickets, and to stay in my son´s house in DFW or my daughter´s in Miami, and to use their cars, so the amounts are not high.Thanks again

I would suggest looking closer to places like Freeport (LL Bean alone attracts a lot of folks), Portland (where the Old Port is always going plus the added benefit of renting to people coming in or going out on the airline), and near Kittery (near the Naval Base where again folks coming in and out will tend to stay) if you are wanting year round high occupancy.  

Most hosts miss out on stuff like dynamic pricing (changing nightly rates to match the ebbs and flows of the market, like airlines do), or things as simple as hiring a professional photographer to capture the main highlights of your STR.

We are on 15 channels + so market exposure with not only Airbnb/VRBO/our booking site but also on Marriott Homes & Villas, JetBlue Airlines, Allegiant Airlines and soon Amex Travel and Hyatt.  

But yes no doubt it definitely shielded some poor investments and made the guys vacuuming up properties in 2015-2019 look like geniuses.

The interesting thing about property management without scale is that it is really hard to see residency in a vacuum as just metrics.
