Also, cabinetry in mobile homes is almost always cheap particle board and usually damaged with doors and drawers falling apart.

However, not all cabinets are constructed equally (obviously), and these meet the basics (in my opinion) of a quality cabinet:1) The boxes are plywood, NOT particle board.2) The door rails and stiles, the drawer faces, and the fillers are solid wood (birch, maple, there may be other options), NOT veneer.3) The rails and stiles are mortised, NOT mitered and stapled.
