Its been 2 years the house is done and we did it while I worked 60+ hours a week, I had surgery, my wife had 2 surgeries and we went through 2 pregnancies.

The Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) prohibits harassment and discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, mental and physical disability, medical condition, age, pregnancy, denial of ... www.dfeh.ca.gov/Publications_FEHADescr.htm Even though the above definition does not specifically state this applies to housing the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing brochure below says as much. http://www.dfeh.ca.gov/res/docs/Publications/DFEH-157H.pdf And yes I agree - bad information is worse than no information.

I've had single mothers with older daughters move in one of their daughter's boyfriends because their daughter got impregnated.They all conceal their pregnancies and when the deed is done, display their brats and look at you and ask if you could be so heartless as to evict a little baby and a father, if you're a monster of a landlord breaking up a new family.

We started in the summer of 2011 with our first rental property (traditional financing), the second rental Feb 2012 (hard money), but we've slowed things down quite a bit since my wife's pregnancy and the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Aria, in late 2012.
