It’s good business for extended-stay hotels, the housing of last resort.

VERY limited circumstances though, a very last resort. 

It has skiing in winter, hiking in spring, there's a few resorts up there as well. 

Having said that you can make money here, but choosing the right neighborhood (resort) is key.

You resort to the internet.

I imagine there are some ski resorts in Washington you could work at that are closer to the subject property?
