Airbnb is just one marketing venue for an STR/Vacation rental.

There aren't any venues that can host 3000 people there. 

Also, depending on your construction contract with the GC, it will likely outline the correct venue and procedures for any dispute resolution.

In my Florida market I don't believe about 30% are operating properly and submitting tourism tax.As for profitability I have picked up magnificent cashflowing properties in FL over the past 3 yrs. 

The views were stunning, it was just my wife and I (and the photographer), we got amazing pictures, paid a fraction of the cost -- then we had a party after our honeymoon and celebrated with friends and family (much less expensive as venues didn't see this as a "wedding").

Is there no viable venue that private money lenders can meet directly with borrowers, where both have goals that can be met in truth and with confidence?  

Normally, anything at a bar and for real estate investors is a good networking venue (also drinks can be tax write-offs).
