Those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic can now apply for financial assistance from Escambia County.The City of Pensacola and Escambia County are participating in the Coronavirus Relief Funds made available by Florida Housing Finance Corporation.The county says approximately $813,451 will me made available Tuesday Sept. 1 to help eligible applicants with rent, mortgage and/or utility assistance.The expenses must occur between March 1 through December 30.

The way things are going it is going to be very difficult to evict anyone during this Covid-19 pandemic but some relief may be coming to landlords by the way of local/state or federal legislation.

This has been a huge undertaking, a great, but challenging learning experience and since we are finishing up the big ticket items is finally becoming a huge financial relief.  

Another possibility is that the bank may not immediately act on the relief to go forward with a foreclosure because they believe (with new information and some funds on the debtor's behalf) that they are better off working out a modification and then it doesn't show on their books as "un-performing".
