We let our lawns brown in the summer and the weeds stand out and are easy to pluck or spray.  

I attribute that to kids starting school.

There are a lot of "We Buy Houses" signs in my area & just as many letters going out, probably--but since callers tend to go down a list of numbers they see/get, maybe I can stand out from the rest (and get a jump on leads) if I actually answer the phone right away!

Don't paint it, that brick doesn't look horribly dated, which is really the only reason to paint brickSpend the money you would have spent on painting on a really good, standout front door and some nice landscaping, especially along the walk.

@Jagadeesh Chandramohan You eventually receive a tax benefit for it because your suspended losses attributable to a particular property are released when that property is sold.

It's not what we do because we are building in a niche market where we have to stand out. 

I use a point system looking at many attributes.  

Might number them making them stand out.
