Basically I think what you are asking here would be easily provided by a better software solution chose by the PM, and I would question now other business decisions made by the PM.If you are looking for more than just what you indicated here I would eitherr direct you to self manage or hire a limited service PM.

Lately, we've had a great deal of luck with one particular university referring us to visiting professors who are often from overseas and in to teach for a semester.

The right solution will vary for person to person.

There are some potential downsides to a TIC, but they can be an effective solution for the right situation.
