It's time I realize that LA is my home and I should spend at least 100 hours networking and looking for Real Estate investments before I consider buying another property in Florida or another long distance market.I did a lot of thinking on the LA market and here's what I came up with..Buying a multi-family property here is ill-advised for many reasons.

@Bob Bowling @Manch Hon and in many cases keep your day job so you can keep saving and building up cash to invest with.I know the mid west looks appealing with the no money down scheme's or little down.. but there are land mines most West coast investors just don't or can't fathom.. just like LA is not Norcal things are different and in the mid west they are really different.

What I mean to say...find a great deal on a duplex or triplex...a great deal in LA is not the same as one in Atlanta so it’s relative.

LA is doing everything it can to provide more housing....heck, it's one of the easiest cities now to build an ADU... provided you rent it and not air-BNB it.
