Yes, they will pay a % fee for the privilege along the way somewhere (our processor charges them 3% extra)... but we see that as 'their problem'.For tenants that don't want to play along with that scenario (convert to paying on a card / bank account) we have advised them that we will be charging a $25 pick up fee when we have to come and get the rent in person.

As a guarantor, mom or dad has the right to know if little Johnny or Janey is meeting their obligations and the privilege to open their wallet if they are not.Having helicopter Mom pop into the house their kid shares with three other students unannounced does not help social cohesion between housemates ... it also doesn't help the kids become independent. ;-)

Nothing wrong with using a dual agent as long as you understand they won’t be able to advise you whether the seller will take less money or other privileged information.
