To do that, you'll typically need to serve them (check your state laws), which means you have to find them.Even if you win a judgment, you then have to figure out how to collect.

I doubt I'll ever get my back rent and damages back either, but I figure if they ever get their lives back on track or they win the lottery :-) I'll be in line to collect.
