Me and my husband have a goal to house hack with a duplex or triplex.

While condos might be all someone can afford to owner occupy or invest in enter at your own risk and if they are talking about future special assessments you will likely scare future buying prospects away. 

Hi Ryan, I'm interested in chatting with you regarding costs to use your management company for my one unit (Duplex, second side is a LTR)  that is currently a MTR that I'm looking to move into a STR. 

I attended the hearing/meeting.Basically, he was able to prove that the property was a two family/duplex since the 1950's.

I started with an FHA loan and a duplex house hack.

So he must have already bought the duplex or none of these things could be happening.

I think  buying a primary, putting 3-5% down, look for a home with potential to either rent rooms or duplex,  triplex or quad! 

Can you still find a decent duplex in a good area for $100K these days?

Does anyone know which insurance company still writes landlord policy in Richmond area/Condo (94804)?

Purchase price: $260,000 Cash invested: $52,000 This gem of a condo caught my eye, despite the fact that I traditionally believed condos weren't as great an investment as single family homes.
