that is typically 5-10 years+ of ownership.2. turnkey isn't entirely passive. you have to manage your property manager. they are responsible for doing whatever their management agreement says they're responsible for, and you are responsible for doing what it says you're responsible for. 

I need credibility, either through working for a couple of years for a company or buying my own property, starting small, and scaling with time.Now, my plan is to graduate next year (Im a junior), and get a job in a firm as an analyst in order to build that experience and mainly cover my living expenses, while on the side buy my first small property and go from there.However, and this is where I start overthinking,  I still have 1 year left in school and I want to use it to my advantage as I don't have any expenses or responsibilities other than school yet, and I want to do my first deal.

And that’s pretty close to the response I have planned for anything that was obvious, in plain sight, or as minor as some of the things you listed.

What I have learned is the usefulness of the lead-generating sites is very market-specific.If I were to estimate, in the last two years, my lease-ups came from Craigslist (20%), Apts.com (20%), Zillow (30%) and FB (30%).Most of the responses from my ads come from Zillow (40%) and FB (50%), but most of those leads are woefully unqualified (especially FB).
