I agree that (from what I've researched over the past couple of years in preparation) it can be tough to reconcile current code/FEMA standards with Historic Preservation Society accuracy.

Rentometers accuracy is probably area specific, but I know in my area it is usually pretty reliable.

I use the free version, but if I need more accuracy, I have some friends with the paid version!

Based on your real estate investing experience, how's your accuracy for estimating house listing and selling prices over the past 3 years? 

I did come up with a few sites... neighborhoodscout.comand also from a search here on BP... crimescout.comThe unfortunate part is I don't know the reputation of these 2 sites for accuracy or bias.

When it comes to real estate, accuracy is key.

In the midwest we are still blessed with the accuracy of the 1% rule for the most part.

I used the Bigger Pockets Rental Property Analysis Calculator to run the numbers on a place and was curious of the accuracy of the numbers that I am inputting.  

We're still getting mixed results on the IP data lookup feature as the data is a bit hit and miss accuracy wise and you end up getting a lot of very unqualified leads that now are going into a CRM or having to be followed up w/ by a human.

Turbo Tax can be inaccurate or ask leading questions that if you don't know what you're looking for to verify accuracy, it can be tricky.
